I don’t often post photos on the forum, but I’ve posted a couple tonight.

It occurred to me that with the better weather just around the corner (hopefully), it might be the right time to open a dedicated “members photos” thread.

Take care not to give away info about yourself that you wouldn’t want others to see. Entertain us, make us envious with your gardening skills or your flair for decorating, or your precious pets.

Let’s share with our community and get to know each other better through photographs. Remember, don’t post anything that you may later regret …. Otherwise go for it.

How much land have you got POPS?

The gardens are all very mature and must have taken alot of hardwork, to get them where they are now.

One of my accidental arty farty shots.
was supposed to be just taking pic of the stars. A car drove past and I thought the shot was ruined. Taken in Penzance at 3am couple years ago.Aryfarty

I like sitting outside RAF bases all day pretending to be a photogramapher

One and a half acres kezo, including the children’s good sized five a side football pitch in the lower garden (which is fenced and has a seating area for us spectators to enjoy a game with a drink in hand, lol) and surrounded by some very mature trees both deciduous and pines, and a few fruit trees.

Maintenance is a time consuming job for both my son and daughter in law. (I just do some one handed pruning).

Managed to get a decent shot of our cat Xena while I was in the middle of changing the bedding!

She’s a rescue we got in February 2021 from our local RSPCA, she’d been very, very  badly abused, kicked in the face, broken ribs, fractured skull and eys sockets, a broken tail and many other horrible things done to her  🙁
I have no idea how she managed to survive to be honest.

She lived underneath a desk drawer for almost 3 months just coming out for food etc when we weren’t about.  Three years later and the change in her is nothing short of miraculous!.  She still doesn’t like being picked up or people walking past wearing shoes but she now sleeps snuggled into me almost every night and is always wanting strokes and cuddles and is the most loving cat we’ve ever had.  Even if I just have a lie on the bed to watch TV she comes up and snuggles right into my armpit, 2 paws on my arm and happily goes to sleep.

We adopted her about 8 months after my car accident, I really wasn’t in a good place but as soon as I saw her on the website I knew she was the one.

As my Autistic son says, we didn’t find her, we found each other.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Heart warming photos Phaedra. She’s a beauty, and it’s obvious she feels safe and much loved.

Watched a wind turbine blade arriving in Southampton from the Isle of Wight where they are made yesterday. They ship them over one at a time. The pics really don’t do justice to just how big they are, or how much the blade protrudes over the stern of the boat.

The Celebrity Apex sailing from Southampton to start its European cruise first leg. It has a lift on the side of the ship that is enormous!
