Anyone else on here affected by the dreaded HV battery recall notice from Ford. Only charge battery to 80% and only use auto EV mode in meantime. 2nd recall in 1 year for the same issue. No fix in sight, possibly mid 2026. Will again no doubt be a software fix (which obviously didn’t work last time). Needs a replacement HV battery to fix properly but that ain’t happening. Wonder how sympathetic Motability would be to me ending lease now without any penalties?

Ford have had numerous recalls to do with the high voltage battery on the Kuga since 2020!

We ordered a Ford Kuga PHEV in 2023 but had to cancel due to numerous recalls especially the engine fire.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
