Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

Dealer called to say my car is in and awaiting adaptations now, so it should be with me before the month is out.

January 17, 2025 at 5:52 pm #296302I’m very interested in the facelift Enyaq, I think it looks superb and I am seriously considering the 85x Sportline Plus. I have never had a motability vehicle before but I am eligible but since I would never own the vehicle is it advisable to take any options if so what options would you deem desirable and necessary.
January 17, 2025 at 6:13 pm #296305Thing is with options is if the car is written off for some reason you don’t get that money back pro rata or otherwise. Ideally if you want options you want to order where it’s baked into the advance payment as Ford is doing with the explorer or hyundai does with the Ioniq 5 or 6.
Having said that I have a MY24 Enyaq 85x and the only things I’d like that were pay walled in options was the 360 degree camera with the assistance that gives plus the HUD. I certainly wasn’t going to pay silly money for them and now knowing that if the car gets written off you lose all your option money I wouldn’t bother.
Personally I think the 85x spec is brilliant for the money and is good enough as is. If I was loaded would I have put the max pack on for a laugh? You betcha I would but I’m not lol.
I would maybe have gotten a towbar fitted if I was doing it again but that’s it
January 17, 2025 at 6:24 pm #296307I have the 85x Sportline and was happy with all that came as standard so didn’t specify any additional options.
My advice however would be to wait until the facelifted car is able to be configured on the website and the new brochure is uploaded, just to make sure there aren’t any significant spec changes.
January 17, 2025 at 6:27 pm #296308Oops, just checked and it’s available now.
January 17, 2025 at 8:59 pm #296320Anyone know if the facelift interior is identical to the current version?
We have done a test drive in the 85 Edition, and the seats and headrests in particular are suitable for my wife’s needs… concerned that if another one comes out then it may be possible that these are different?
Apparently you can still order the 85 Edition and 85x Sportline Plus until the 6th March… after that date it will change to the facelift models. My first allowed order date is the 13th March so not much chance of getting the current model I think!

Id imagine you have a good chance of sniping a few cancelled orders closer to the switchover date when people start to order the facelift
January 17, 2025 at 9:21 pm #296322I know we will be ordering the new one when it becomes available if it appears on the scheme before its built. I reckon it’ll appear on Motability 9th March or thereabouts for the new model facelift. Currently have an order in place for the 85X estate in Velvet Red hoping the new one come on the scheme with packs like it did with the Elroq.

January 20, 2025 at 7:59 pm #296433Just want to say that the satnav withing the infotainment system in the Enyak is excellent,i particularly like the heavy and moderate traffic highlights in red and orange on the roads and they do update very quickly, also shows roadworks, and tonite it even showed a road that has a temp no entry to it which only started recently for some groundworks on a road near me.

Yeah it’s really accurate. Coming back from Cornwall last year, it tried to take us of the A30 saying there was a 20 minute delay, we ignored it and got stuck in a 30 minute queue after the next junction. I think it uses data from other VW group cars that are stuck in traffic.
January 25, 2025 at 11:15 pm #296623Only time I used mine instead of Android Auto/Google Maps it told me I was just off the coast of Newfoundland in the Labrador Sea 🙁 Never bothered with it again.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
January 26, 2025 at 8:04 am #296622Ready to order my 1st motability car. Looking for generous interior, big boot EV and took a my24 Enyaq 50 for a drive yesterday.
Love the drive and space works for family. Wife has her heart set on the olive green and wants leather seats. Will be 85 model for range and extra hp.
Anyone famiar with the specs needed for leather seats (she hates the entry cloth trim). Can’t find which version has leather as standard.
No date given by dealer to order my my25 so will likely have to keep in touch pestering dealer for earliest date to spec out order.

I see what you did there! Get your coat.
@Muckleheed71 be careful, prices can change without warning. The current car price is pretty good and the only difference is cosmetic.Skoda Enyaq Race Blue

That’s a good point but just looking at the AP of the Elroq perhaps the AP for the Enyaq won’t increase too much!
January 26, 2025 at 12:07 pm #296644And the VW ID4 is more affordable.
I just wouldn’t bet on the price NOT increasing. It went up £300 this quarter compared to last.

I think it’s the Suite (black leather) and Ecosuite (brown leather). We have the Ecosuite and it looks fantastic, though I don’t think it’s still available. AP was around £1750.
January 26, 2025 at 7:56 pm #296661I got told by my dealer that the current 85 edition and 85x sportline plus would be available to order until the 6th March, on that date it would switch and the facelift would be able to be ordered. My earliest order date is the 13th March so anticipating it will be MY25 by then.
January 26, 2025 at 7:57 pm #296662Anyone added the transport pack to their Enyaq for the variable height boot floor? Thought this would be useful to slide a wheelchair in and out of the boot with no dip. Worth the extra cash or not worth it?
January 26, 2025 at 7:58 pm #296663The MY25 has this as standard sorry just on Sportsline

January 30, 2025 at 5:09 pm #296809I was wondering if anyone has an issue with the “since charging” data. I charge twice weekly from 50 to 80% because my cheapest rate £/kw is between midnight and
5am and although you can reset the long term and since start data you can’t reset the since charge data which in my case is constantly wrong – does anyone else have this issue with their Enyaq ? Is there a way to fix it ?
