The charging point on our Outlander PHEV froze up after heavy snow and sub zero temperatures we could not close the could not close the hatch until it thaw out, the wife looked on line and found people were constructing a cover as per photo out of cardboard, my wife use an old freezer bagUnfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

A fitted to the PHEV, you can buy bespoke covers online from Canada about £50.00 this cost £zero
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

If you glue a cheap magnetic strip inside the bag that you could have it sticking to the bodywork across the top.
