Just a heads up to anyone planning to charge up at Knutsford Services Southbound. I tried it yesterday and the chargers are far from ideal. They are arranged in a bank of 8 chargers so you are parked alongside the charger rather than head on. This makes it impossible to use if you are a wheelchair user. Not only that you have to pick out which charger set up is best for you as some are at the rear of the bay and some at the head of it. My charging port is on the front of the car so having parked in a vacant bay I realised that the charger was at the rear so had to move bays. Not only that because of the one way route through the car park if you pick the wrong bank of chargers either because of the configuration or as I found one charger didn’t work then you may find yourself past the point of no return and unable to get back to the chargers and start again. I picked my way through the car park to start again. All in all this was more stressful than it should have been. At least my top up charge at Hopwood Services M42 on my way back from Worcester was a joy by comparison. Loads of chargers in a line so easy to park up. Still a challenge if you are a wheelchair user but doable. You have been warned.
