Sounds good to me Goldmember, though i believe if someone had the tech knowledge they could set up a very profitable website by doing what the likes of carwow do, that is create a portal where motability customers can enter the details of the car they want to take a lease out on, then the website emails relevant dealers within a certain radius inviting them to make their offers… this would all be done on the website, so no direct communication with the motability customer. And only if the motability customer wants to proceed they can contact the dealer direct with a reference number and make an appointment to do the deal.
The reference number being used would show the website portal was used and they get a set ‘finders-fee’. Website owner wins, dealer wins, motability customer wins.
If it’s currently done by numerous websites for the private sale sector and is profitable, why not for the huge motability sector?
Only with the motability sector it could be tailored not specifically to money off ap, but could also include extras like a full tank of fuel, luxury car mats, 50% off options, free upgrades to different alloys, etc, etc
After test driving and finding the vehicle i want, i would have no hesitation in using a website like this, there would be nothing to lose by doing so.
Important: this idea is trademarked by me! lol
