Hi, hoping someone can help me. I have been a Motability customer for nearly ten years. I am able to order my new car in August this year but I notice my ADP is due for renewal in March 2026. I was moved over from PIP to ADP this year as part of move from PIP in Scotland. I’ve seen some comments suggesting this requirement isn’t applicable any more for current lease holders entering a new lease. I just wanted to check if someone could confirm this for me or if you have any experience of this situation and how you resolved it. Thanks.

According to motability, they changed the rules a couple of years ago in which you can get your next car ordered and collected if you have less than 12 months on your award; however, you can also wait to order and ask motability to extend your lease.
