Sorry for asking these probably easy to answer questions.

      1. The 3 years are up on my car in October/november. Can I order a car now and what happens if it’s available before the end of my current car?

      2. someone mentioned in passing that you receive £600 back once your previous 3 years has expired. Is this true? And if so what’s the time frame for receiving it?

      3. Škoda enyaq or be id4?

Good condition bonus (what you get on hand back assuming the car is in a reasonable condition and has a valid MoT) is currently £250

You can usually order a car 3 months before the end of your current lease, for me my lease ends Jan 11th so I can start looking and order from October 11th.

You can check your exact date on the Motability website under “Your Account”

As for car choice the Enyaq is much better than the ID4 and the SEL trim is £4,296 cheaper than the ID.4 Pro Match trim which has the same size battery and range, the lower Pure Match trim only has the 58kWh battery and reduced range, it’s also £300 more.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Answers as above, with one addition.

If your new car arrives early, unfortunately you cannot take delivery of it until the date that your existing contract expires. The dealer will know this and will keep your new car until that date.

I had an ID.4 and honestly it felt like you were being punished not being able to get a top ID.4, ny experience with the Enyaq was much better when I was in it being test drove. I actually find the Enyaq is nicer than the q4 etron.

As to £600, perhaps someone referred to @BigDave’s thread on discounts. Worth monitoring.
