That should handily offset the 12% insurance tax imposed by the govt, which was one of the cornerstones of Motability’s new “Pay lots for less…Cant pay we’ll take it away” attitude.
In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.
Not for Motability customers. Our insurance costs have risen in the form of Higher AP,s.
Motability tried to lower insurance costs by throwing in drive smart for all new and existing customers.
Until customers started to leave, they kinda backtracked.
I filled in one of their customer questionnaires.
They had a long tick box list of the new changes about 15 items, and a blank box for anything else.
The new changes we all knew about. So every box was ticked.
But no mention of smart drive. I used the blank box at the end to remind them about the smart drive disaster.
So yes insurance costs may have gone down for everyone else, but ours has increased.
