Yesterday we changed over to BT Fibre Optic to date we have not noticed any difference, except we now have to use a digital house phone.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

We can only get FTTC (Fibre to the cabinet) but changed over in December from Plusnet to Vodafone, £17 a month cheaper plus a £125 rewards card 🙂

My landline is also now digital (VOIP), the existing phone just plugs into the router and works as normal 🙂

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Be aware if you have a power cut you won’t have a phone.

Fortunately we have an AC invertor and a battery bank so don’t suffer power cuts. BT made us fully aware in the event of a power cut and advised having a mobile phone in case of emergencies.

I recently moved from Sky copper as full fibre wasn’t available back to Virgin 350 and basic TV

Ive had VOIP for around 15yrs so have not had actual landline from Vigin or Sky for the same amount of time.

Something I can happily live without (landline that is)  🙂

Everyone I know that’s worth talking to has my mobile and uses that as I always have it next to me 😀
