I suspect the XC40 will be back shortly. There is a very minor facelift with Android Automotive and a slightly revised front end.

Well, it didn’t show up the first time!  So you got it twice…

We hope so, looking at the Motability search menu this morning shows no Volvo’s at all on the scheme so another manufacture gone with the wind.

Never mind this model or that model disappearing its manufactures that are disappearing now. 😥

Very bumpy times ahead, just looking online at other non car related purchases and few options available.

    Skoda -4

Ford had the nerve to send a small leaflet stating, “Ford motability, we’re here for you”.  I did chuckle at the irony after swearing a little.

Diminishing choice and numbers as we edge closer to triple figures.

The Motability bit isn’t the actual order, it’s just recognition that Motability are happy for you to order that car. The order is between the dealership and the manufacturer. However, even if your dealership is sitting on your order awaiting build slot allocations (as often happens, but probably less so with Vauxhall) then they can still order your car, even though it has been removed from the scheme. You should therefore get your car – eventually!

A very sad day for the scheme. Not a single decent size premium SUV left. Mercedes GLA. Gone. Audi Q3. Gone. Volvo XC40. Gone. And now BMW X1 gone. Whilst the BMW X2 and Audi Q2 are very nice cars (although how much longer will they remain?), their boot sizes will limit their appeal to many who have to lug around wheelchairs etc.

Hopefully this dearth of choice is purely down to the chip shortage and normal service will be resumed at some point next year, but can we be sure?

Yep choices now mean the kuga and tiguain will be the goto cars after xc40 bmwx1 and q3 going,so they will be removed from scheme if orders rise  to much for them.Another excuse for cars remaining AP prices to rise in Q1 2022..
