Heartily agree, JS. Many thanks, jamesg. Much appreciated – still my first internet stop after email. Even though, with james’s help from here, I’ve actually got new Mota’ car, I like to keep up-to-date with how Motability are doing. BTW, james, have you got the Audi at home yet?

No    got  text from  Motability   As you were due to collect your new vehicle soon,  be reassured we will automatically extend your lease and you will continue to be insured . Your dealer will then be in touch when they reopen to arrange a new collection date. Please do not call us unless your query is urgent as we have a reduced number of advisors. I am in the extremely vunerable group that are been shielded.   MIGHT GET IT BY CHRISTMAS!  Thanks JS and Tharg  stay safe.

At least it’s not sat on your drive getting old while all you can do is look at it.

However, it may end up rotting on a German dockside until things get moving.

Vinalspin/jamesg – dead right there. I was feeling dead guilty about getting my Mini on Friday last week. (Must have sneaked in under the shut-down by hours!). But it now sits on me drive, gleaming seductively, trying to tempt me into breaking my self-isolation rules. When I can drive again, I shall call it “The Tart”.

lol, tharg i know what you mean i picked up my countryman on the 9th so if your 3dr is the tart i suppose that makes mine the big tart. its been out once since i picked it up and at night the red light on the aerial binacle flashes red to show the alarm is armed but its almost like its taunting me through the window.

We must continue to resist, mitch. These husseys will try anything – I swear the Tart now has fishnet tyres!

I don’t have that luxury as I have to look after elderly relatives who live 100 miles away so mine is getting used just not the multiple daily runs to the coffee shop.

Isn’t the Leon one of those that’s had a facelift recently?

Think it might come back on with an inflated AP by any chance? (bit pessimistic I know but they’ve all got previous for it)
