On the topic of the estates,  I have spoken to a lady at Select Car Leasing through whom we leased our pre reg BYD Dolphin Surf this March.  She told me that VW group are extremely flexible on prices due to the their bonuses system (cannot confirm if this is the reason though) and indeed,  one can buy brand new pre-reg ID.7 GTX with sunroof for £39,000 instead of £60,000.

I appreciate it is not a lease, but still 1/3 price off from a brand new car.

Maybe they are changing models, that is usually the reason for discounts. But with VW its a different story, they are in real trouble and in the process if shutting down plants.

But its the best time to snag a deal.
