      A Very interesting read. Solid state batteries for the very near future of EV battery systems. Safer, lasts longer and will deliver a much improved system. Delivering more power and far greater distances to be achieved.

        Well maybe not the *very* near future, joss.  Article suggests the end of the decade.  And it takes time for new tech to get cheap..
