I’ve got a gas bottle for the BBQ, how do I know how much gas is left in it?

Tap it going down

Warm water down the side, then rub your hand down the side  the area that feels cooler is the gas level

Weight it

Warm water trick worked perfectly, bottle felt warm down to last 20% which was freezing. 20% left! 👍

If you leave your bottle outside over winter, when it freezes you get a perfect fill line around the bottle.

I’m thinking of buying a gas ring for it to use in an emergency should there be power cuts.
