Ali – is that a digital dash and, if so, is there an option to have your current speed showing as a large number (rather than just the speed dial)?

A AliIt’s is digital dials but not like the one you get on the m sport.
It’s comes as standard with the car as well as the reverse assist with was a nice surprise. I didn’t add any extras on . I got the standard 320i sports

A AliI think they was a update to the dials in July last year. @glos guy ther is an option to change the middle part to show the mph in large which in very useful and also shows the speed limit of the road your on . This picture was taken when I picked up the car hence only 9 miles on the clock

Tony CookI currently have the old shape 3 series touring but had the M-sport suspension as an option. You can’t order adaptive or firmer suspension on the the current spec of Motability BMW’s so my question is how does your BMW compare in driving, handling, suspension and damping wise please? Is it soft or firm please ? Is it waftier, softer or just the same as an M Sport handling wise please ?

Tony CookHow much does the ride/suspension/dampers and handling in the 3 series sport touring differ from the M-sport variant? Is the handling compromised, too wafty and or soft in the sport or SE trims spec.??

Hi Tony. Yes it differs, in that the Sport has standard suspension and the M-Sport has firmer M-Sport suspension. In my opinion, the standard suspension is the better one to have. Being a BMW it is never wafty or soft. It’s just right. The ride in models with M-Sport suspension, especially with larger wheels, can be too unsettling at low speeds over uneven surfaces. As for handling, I doubt you will find a better handling car on the scheme, as long as it isn’t snowing, in which case, as it’s rear wheel drive, leave it at home! I haven’t driven the new model 3 Series but have had 4 of the old ones (plus 5 and 7 series) and driven literally dozens of BMW’s of both suspension types and I much prefer the standard suspension.
