I will be getting a 12kw  Samsung heat pump fitted shortly and im sure there was at least one other memver who has one fitted. It would be good to hear how they are performing so that anyone thinking of fitting one in the future can ask questions and get the benefit of our experiences.

I will post whatever my experience is, good and bad, to give a balanced account of my experience.

I will continue to have my combi boiler so if the heat pump is rubbish I can revert to gas 😤

Think you got me confused with someone else I’m not up north (well north Norfolk), nor do I have a combi lol.

I do have a heatpump and very happy with it even with North facing, at the coast even during the coldest of weather we’ve faced in the past few years it keeps the house exactly where we want it and doesn’t break the bank doing so. How the installers left it setup was far from ideal so I have tinkered with it a lot heat curve and other settings plus dumping the anti legionella cycle.

That’s good to hear Rich44, I wont be having a tank so no legionellafor me🤞. What size and make of pump do you have and what changes to the original set-up did you make?

Had my smart meters installed yesterday and have been told that the heat pump solar and battery storage will be fitted in a fortnight.
