Last year, for a short time, I think I remember a button on the Motability search cars page that let you just see cars newly-added to the scheme. I found this quite useful, but haven’t seen it for a while.

      Was I imagining things?

Current: MY24 Renault Austral Iconic FHD.
      Ordered 5/2/26: Chery Tiggo 8
      Previous Motability cars:
      2013 Ford Focus estate auto.
2016 Vauxhal Zafira 1.4T SE Auto.
2019 Ford Kuga Vignale 1.5 auto AWD. (Ext lease)

I don’t remember it but, then again, I don’t remember most things these days 😂

In all honesty, I rely totally on the superb (and much appreciated) work done by @wmcforum in providing daily updates on additions and deletions to the scheme.

            I think, on the Motability car search input page;

            https://www.motability.co.uk/find-a-vehicle/cars

If you scrolled down the page they used to display recently added vehicles in ‘slide across’ boxes with an image of the vehicle in each separate box and a very brief into to the vehicle.

However, this feature seems to have been removed.

It was indeed and looks like removed. I think they are working to introduce another button – “Cars Removed due to Public Pressure”.

😂 Another button could be “Cars available to Motability customers as private buyers don’t want them” 😂

So we’ll eventually be left with a list called “Cars approved by the Daily Wail.”?

That’s gonna be a very short list.

the search on motability is very poor you used to be able to select all suv’s on a single box now you have to select each size individually and you cant select all  at the same time. the best you can select is small and medium together.theres only one car designated large the austral so its not a huge issue. ive reported it several times and once ive got past the people that just say no your wrong and someone actually goes through my selections they say oh yes we will pass that on.never been fixed.

yes you were right there did used to be a new to the scheme button.

You can still make multi-selections, you just need to click the boxes very quickly. But yes, it shouldn’t be like that.

                      The Austral is sim-labelled anyway. It’s ‘C’ segment. Large SUVs – Kodiaq, 5008, Tiggo 8 etc – are ‘D’.

The whole search system is glitchy as heck.

Another thing that’s wrong with the site is the “Dimensions and Capacity”  information, it’s never given the cars actual dimensions!

Only shows Number of seats, number of doors and boot capacity.  I’ve mentioned it to them a couple of times but as above nothing has been done.

I’d like a filter so that I can show cars by height, I really need over 1.6m to be able to get in/out comfortably!.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

i find the motaclarity search a bit better it at lest does it on price order so it starts with those at 0ap the only issue is different trim levels of each model are split. although i suppose if like me your restricted by price it only shows those you can afford.
