I was roasting a chicken, had the radio on using Alexa to listen to some music. I took the chicken out of the oven to baste it and Alexa stopped the radio and said “ Don’t forget the potatoes”.

What The Actual F@@@!

It  may have known the chicken went in forty minutes earlier as I was discussing it with Mrs Joe, but it must have recognised the sound of sizzling when I took it out.

Glad I moved the speaker out of the bedroom and into the kitchen.

I wouldn’t mind but we weren’t having potatoes, I was doing chicken with a pasta salad. It’s staying switched off when not in use from now on.
