I can’t see Motability covering those cost even with their free charger with every EV.

If I was fit and able I could do the whole job for around £600/£700.

Kerbocharge is a rip of at £1,000 for what is essentially a piece of plastic tray installed in the pavement.

has one you can see installed on his Kerbocharge thread.

It is overpriced for what is essentially a bit of 30mm square plastic cable trunking!, that said mine was £300 installed by my local council.

It’s been in almost 2 years, has had a couple of issues but mainly due to the idiots using concrete to hold it into the tarmac path!.  Still does the job though.

I would have much preferrred wider metal cable trunking with a hinged lid, much easier to open and just drop the cable into instead of having to bend down and feed it in.  I know they’re still promising to bring out the “Kerbo Glide – Easy Cable Insertion Tool ” but for £60 I can manage without it for now!.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
