49 years employment about to be made redundant 3 months before 66

      i suppose i cant complain 50 years since i left school and ive only claimed the dole for about seven months.

      we were all called in to the office today to be told they are looking for redundancies and i suppose i will be fairly high up the list part time only been there since 22 and i am almost 66.

      so with notice periods etc it may take us past september so i wont be able to claim anyway just my luck lol.

          at least i get my pension in september and its about the same as i earn now so i cant complain i wont be any worse off. just depends how soon they want rid of us.

            You can cross that bridge when you come to it and if it means claiming UC for a couple of months, so be it.
