hey I currently have Mercedes b class auto which I brought prior to motability. I do need something higher up now and to be honest I am been a car snob, but the vw Tiguan r line has definitely caught my eye. Do you enjoy yours as your have come from bmw to vw? What’s the fuel economy like. Thank you
Fuel economy is between 34 to 48 depending on journey (have even got 52) but vw has a avg fuel economy reporting system which is not very helpful, so I would say under reports sometimes as I done a real world tank fill to tank fill estimate and car said I avg about 42 for that tank, my pocket and pump said I avg 49.8 for that tank.
Coming from a BMW it was a change as it was a SUV for a start, but in all honestly I waxed lyrical about lack of having to stretch out after a long journey and praised it everywhere, The Tiguan r line handles well (does not wallow about) and you added bonus on top of the bmw as well as not feeling the need to stretch, you also don’t feel tired after a long drive… truly impressed with it. One thing I love is the implementation of the adaptive cruise control. and the fact it has foot rest on both sides of pedals for when your using it 😛
