Shawn if the scheme isn’t working for you, then have you looked at other options i.e private leasing, buying, etc?
The scheme is what it is, you have a choice to obtain an EV elsewhere, or wait for a suitable one to appear on the scheme.
The rules of the scheme are what they are, but there are grey areas which may suit you, but come at potential £250 cost.
