To be honest the dealer is right as they won’t be able to place your order until Q3 so your order will be at that AP, they can order but not put it on Motability system until 3 months before your change over date, what you can do and I think it’s what you may of read on the forum is once you’ve ordered and especially with Vw delivery times it is exceptable to ask as you have done that if it was to go down in Q4 compared to when you can order Q3 then the lower price is honoured. The Dealers are governed by the AP when the official order is placed if it does go down then they can cancel and re order to honour the lower price if they are agreeable, which can be handy with VW delivery times as they can be over 2 quarters.
