Worrying on so many levels Philjb:
1). The fault seems to have appeared at the Fiat dealer while it was in for a simple check and oil change.
2). The dealer does not know how to fix it and has had to resort to contacting Fiat in Italy.
3). In all the Fiat dealers in the UK they are unable to find another 500X demonstrator or nearly new or indeed used example for you daughter to use?
I can’t think of a connection between Jaguar and Fiat, so I’m assuming the F-Pace has come from a Jaguar dealer connected with the dealer group which supplied the Fiat.
All in all a shameful story, but at least your daughter is mobile and Fiat seem to be attempting a fix.
