By the way, and for future reference, metallic paints on BMW’s, as is the case with most manufacturers on the Motability Scheme, are free for Motability customers. Sadly, some dealers (or rather some reps) like to make Motability customers think that they are getting something for nothing or even try to actually charge Motability customers for metallic paints. A Mazda dealer tried to do just that to me, charge me for a metallic paint that was included on the scheme: I laughed, left and reported it.
P.S. My missus can’t wait for my Active Tourer as she says she’d like an extra 6 inches too… ?
