Hi Benito,
From your list i recently discounted the kuga as felt it looked quite dreary and dated in the cabin and felt quite closed as well.
I also test drove the ateca – ride was too firm, and the tiguan – lovely ride just too expensive and no availability within a reasonable time.
I then test drove the Karoq and liked it, especially when the AP last quarter was £295 for the SEL trim – although height a little lower than the Tiguan it was a good, comfortable ride – a sensible choice. But dealer service was terrible which resulted in my cancelling.
When i cancelled the CX-5 new sport nav+ trim had just arrived on the scheme, £700 more than the Karoq, but with a higher ride height and a lot, lot more features. So we ordered and collected her 3 weeks from then. Had her 5 weeks now and love it. Much more better than the Karoq, it’s exciting to drive, we feel much more safer with all the added safety equipment that comes as standard on this trim, and the head-up display is not a novelty it’s the best way to drive with all the info you need on the windscreen ahead of you. The 2.0L petrol is giving me 41 mpg at the moment.
Good luck in your decision process, and please keep us updated with your progress.
