RSA give a lot of leeway on fair wear and tear. A number of years ago a gritter lorry (I believe) damaged my car all the way along the side of my car really badly. I contacted RSA straight away, as I was at the end of my lease ( new car already ordered) they were happy to waive the damage but (unsurprisingly) said I wouldn’t get my good condition bonus.
