    Hi Trev

When they’ve got their foot out of their mouths are they going to increase the power generating capacity to charge these millions upon millions of electric cars every night even when our electric boilers are working flat out to keep us from dying of hyperthermia on a mid-winters night.

I read up on the home charging systems for cars can be turned off remotely by the power producers should the national grid be under strain. Up to now they haven’t needed to do that because there are not that many electric cars but that will change when we all got them along with our electric boilers and heat pumps.

So imagine you get up for work in the morning go to set off then discover its been a -5C night and your car hasn’t been charged.

Better start building more Hinkley Point power stations now if they want this to work and hope the Chinese will invest in such power stations given we’ve become a nation with its head up its you know what and doesn’t know what it needs or wants and those who think they rule the nation are running around like headless Chickens.

Electric yes but let’s think about it first and not just talk BS in the hope it might work in future.
