At first I was driving like my skoda 1.4 turbo and, was, getting 32-34mpg.

Now I’ve adjusted my driving style I’m getting between 39.2 and 41.5 mpg  with my auto box.

I’m fairly careful with my accelerator foot , and try and use the radar cruise as much as possible  allowing the car to accelerate rather than me.

On a longer run on a motorway I was getting just over 50.

I also tend to stick to 68 to 72 mph in 70mph limits.

Things I absolutely love is the HUD and despite reports the infotainment is really quite good.

The comfort and quiet and smoothness of the car.

The configurability of the systems such as door locking and lights. For instance the car locks after I leave it with my key automatically. Or locks when I take the car out of park, and unlocks when I put it in park. There’s loads of options.

I Like the auto folding mirrors which I had in my skoda

I love the led adaptive headlights so clear and bright at night time.

Had five people in it the other day and they all managed to be comfortable. Heated steering wheel and seat is a lovely touch for my arthritis.

Bose sound system is really good and my dealer set it up for optimum sound quality. The sound of CDs (remember them) is really excellent.

Things I don’t like so much (my personal view point) :-

Slow electric tailgate, but.to be fair I’ve learned to hit the button and walk rather than wait to check if it closes ?

Fuel consumption, but I can’t expect too much for a large heavy car with a 2ltr petrol engine.

Piano black decorative inserts look lovely  but fingerprints are a nightmare. Again soft cloth gets rid of them easily

I’ve done just under 550 miles and I love the car. Not looking forward to trying to wash it mind.

    Thanks SG
