Finally got a Quick Look at the IM6. Very similar to the IM5 but somewhat taller. I had the opportunity to sit inside but the sales guy was somewhat grumpy. On the positive side, the ‘vegan leather’ was incredibly plush and those seats are very comfortable. I will need to spend more time in one, though, as the headrest was far too far forward. It felt like the headrest was pushing my chin into my chest. One thing that’s very clear and could be interesting for some shorter people. There’s a lot of car between the outside and the edge of the seat. It’s a couple of inches further that the Ioniq 5 and with a slightly higher seat, I can see some people not reaching the floor. I did find it harder to stand as my feet were a little too far infront of me. I’ll wait for my usual dealership to get the 6 and spend a touch more time with one. I’m really interested to see just what the 20 speaker surround sound system sounds like. With a tweeter in the roof just inches from my head, I’ve doubts.
My 3 month window opens next month and I’m really hoping the IM5 or 6 comes on because at the moment I’m struggling to find something that I like and fits my needs.
I’m also looking at similar cars. Currently drive Nissan Ariya- have looked at the Ariya again alongside the Skoda Enyaq. Does anyone have any comments about the Audi Q4? Appreciate it has an eye watering AP
I also have the Ariya and to be honest I wouldn’t have another what with the problems and the crap customer services from Nissan and the dealer.
I keep looking at the Audi Q4 and yes it’s expensive compared to the Skoda for basically the same car with less kit but it does look so much nicer. I’m also looking at the Cupra Tavascan and I’m hoping the Cupra Born comes back on .
